9. College of the Ozarks - Also known as Hard Work U, the College of the Ozarks is located an hour’s drive to the south of Springfield. The college discourages debt and has been named a Stone-Cold Sober School by the Princeton Review for ten consecutive years.
10. Columbia College – Geared toward adult learners, Columbia offers associates and bachelors degrees both on campus and online. Nationwide, they educate 25,000 students. They charge $155 per credit hour for on campus classes and $220 per credit hour for online learners.
